Spicer & Ryan release 'Royal Blues'

Spicer & Ryan is the Waihi-based music collaboration of singer/songwriter Sarah Spicer and composer/producer Liam Ryan.

Sarah Spicer spent 10 years playing in the USA alongside the cream of American blues artists in the San Fransisco/Bay area including John Lee Hooker with whom she recorded. She is a prolific songwriter and powerful soul singer with two albums of original songs and currently has a third album in production through Renown Records (USA).

Liam Ryan has written NZ chart songs for The Narcs (You Took Me) Heart and Soul, Diamonds on China and the Midge Marsden Band (One Wheel In The Sand). He has collaborated with the The Sou’Westers releasing in Australia with Going West and Blue Pillow (Empty Pocket) and has released two jazz electronica-fusion albums and instrumental singles.

Spicer & Ryan’s new single Royal Blues is a string-soaked tribute to the soul divas of the 1970s featuring Spicer’s searing vocals. This song is instantly engaging, one you want to replay for all of its heart, soul and impeccable instrumentation and production.
