After travelling Australia for the past few years, and a stint in Europe, Marlowe has returned to home soil with a suitcase full of sedated folk ballads.

There’s a scratchy lived in texture to Marlowe’s songs, where working class poetry is set to tender melodic hooks and harmonies. You can hear the influences of Bruce Springsteen, Chris Wollard and a little bit of The National in his sound.

Since the release of his debut acoustic album The Ditch, Marlowe has immersed himself back in to writing and is currently gigging in the Auckland area.
