New Single for The Frank Burkitt Band
Wellington outfit The Frank Burkitt Band have just released a beautiful, bittersweet new single entitled 'Simple', from their forthcoming album Raconteur - due out March 9th.
Although heavily influenced by blues, country, bluegrass, swing and Scottish folk – it is Burkitt's good old fashioned song writing that has underpinned his musical career.
'Simple' begins with a melancholy flamenco style guitar intro, evolving into a strong lyrical delivery at times reminiscent of Bill Withers.
