Songbroker Welcomes Matt Langley

Songbroker Music Publishing is very pleased to welcome the music of Matt Langley to the catalogue.

Matt Langley is a Dunedin-based, APRA award-winning and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter/acoustic troubadour.

He has toured and worked with the likes of Riki Gooch, Tom Callwood, Andrew Bain, Tom Watson, Bond Street Bridge, Luckless, Brett Stanton and others and has offered support for Head Like A Hole, Martin Phillipps, Damien Dempsey, Dave Dobbyn, Tiny Ruins and Jeff Lang.

Langley’s songwriting draws on a wide range of influences; from folk, pop, balladry, and country traditions to create songs that have both unexpected mood shifts and a lyrical sense that is both personal and poetic.

He has recently collaborated on a suite of songs with renowned New Zealand poet laureate and author Brian Turner titled ‘Ladders of Rain’.
