THE RVMES RELEASE NEWEST SINGLE 'WHAT’S TROUBLIN’ YOU'

Auckland 4-piece band The RVMES (pronounced ‘The Rooms’) have just released the debut single from their forthcoming album Simple Things. The track entitled ‘What’s Troublin’ You, carries a simple, uplifting message about forgetting life’s troubles, while tying in sounds inspired by the classic 80’s ‘Dunedin sound’ along with their own modern flavours.

‘What’s Troublin’ You’ is about making time for yourself and asking how your mates are. Everybody has troubles and everybody needs a night off to enjoy themselves, so crank up the volume, have a kōrero with a friend and do just as The RVMES suggest in this fresh new single.

Recorded in their home studio, mixed by the bands previous guitarist Miro Gibson and mastered by Luke Finlay at Primal Mastering., this track brings the classic clean and organic sound The RVMES are known for and have always brought to the table.

The RVMES plan to hit the roads of Aotearoa for a Summer tour of Simple Things with their newest member on lead guitar, Richard Moore. Dates & details coming soon…
