Mecuzine releases 'Digging Deeper' ahead of full album release

Mecuzine has always revelled in wonderfully layered tones and textures, but the fact that the once five-piece band is now Joseph and Tony Johns, makes the creative and democratic process somewhat easier.

And so, with their second full length album on the horizon and previous single ‘Blue Skies’ all but a distant memory, Mecuzine have offered up a sophomore single ‘Digging Deeper’, out today. 

‘Digging Deeper’ takes at step into Mecuzine’s world, a world that wanders between commercial sounds and cultish creativity.

Mecuzine’s music is drawn from various eras, the shimmering sound of 80s synths, the indie guitar tones of the 90’s, timeless piano lines and all manner of samples and beats of more recent times, all melding together to create a cohesive and creative sound.
