MARSHMELLOW'S NEW ALBUM "WONDER MACHINE'

Auckland based singer/songwriter Marshmellow releases his new kids album (and his 5th album) ‘Wonder Machine’ today.

The album features 7 new tracks inspired by his 2 year old son Hector, and new niece Eloise and the joy and general craziness of kids playtime.

The video for the first single off the album, Hector Edward Harris’ Wonder Machine is lovingly animated by Audee Halim and features Tom Fox on guitars and Mike Bloemendal on mix & mastering.

The album was produced by Marshmellow aka Marshall Smith and mixed and mastered by Mike Bloemendal.

Marshall is an award winning songwriter/producer/composer who has written music for screen for many years: Morgan Freeman, ABC, ESPN, BBC, BSkyB, Discovery, TVNZ, TV3, SBS, MTV, Fox...

He has more than 2000 tracks published all around the world and has been an APRA Silver Scroll Finalist and the recipient of many other awards for his music over the years.

Marshall is the MD of leading music production house The Sound Room and is also the Co-chair of the Screen Music & Sound Guild Of New Zealand. He regularly speaks on music & the film industry and mentors young artists as part of the Depot Artspace programme.
