Josh Dann Unveils New Single 'Just For A Moment'

Hamilton based musician Josh Dann has recently released a new single entitled ‘Just For A Moment’, a song about loss.

Josh’s father, Jonathan Dann wrote a poem for a couple who had just experienced a deep loss. He then gave it to Josh and suggested he should write some music to it. And so, ‘Just For A Moment’ was born. There are two versions of the song, one with vocals, one without. 

Of the track Dann says, ”This song is about losing someone important and invites you to step towards that loss, to sit with it. Living in the tension of our feelings, acknowledging them without having to fix them. This song invites you to step towards others in their grief, acknowledging them and their loss. And to listen. Just for a moment.”

Josh’s work spans a number of genres from jazz/rock fusion, to jazz, to orchestral cinematic. His aim is to produce music that speaks to the listener, painting pictures and telling stories through his music.
