Marlowe gets Nostalgic

Marlowe’s brand new single ‘Nostalgic’ is an ode to 90’s pop culture replete with catchy sing along hooks, fun lyrics, and Weezer-inspired guitar leads.

Produced and mixed by Micah Livesay and mastered by Chris Chetland at Kog Mastering, ‘Nostalgic’ was mixed down to a 4-track to give it that authentic yesteryear tape hiss sound.

Of the song Marlowe says “It’s basically about how certain songs or movies can transport you back to a time and place, or state of being and leave you with weird mixed feelings. When things are uncertain, especially with how things are now, it’s nice to take a ‘nostalgic holiday’ and reminisce on the past every now and then.”

 Marlowe is set to celebrate with a Single Launch Show w/ Echo Children, Looking For Alaska, Mikey Havoc at The Thirsty Dog, Auckland on Saturday May 1st. Tickets available here.
