Mali Mali releases new single 'Two Truths and a Lie'
Auckland singer/songwriter Ben Tolich AKA Mali Mali has just unveiled a beautiful new single ‘Two Truths and a Lie’ from his eagerly anticipated new album I Was Told to Keep an Eye Out, due out April 17th.
Of the new track, Tolich says, “ I wrote it impulsively one afternoon on the heels of my 2018 tour. A snapshot of joy and existential heaviness that comes from chasing creativity and an audience. I’ll let the song speak for itself.”
Mali Mali’s intimate, double-tracked vocals punctuate a beautiful, spacey piano backdrop, and as the lyrics unfold he takes us on the road and inside a rich, emotional landscape.
