Songbroker Welcomes Reuben Bradley
Songbroker is very pleased to welcome the music of Reuben Bradley to the catalogue.
Native to Wellington, Reuben Bradley has travelled the world extensively.
Drumming with international jazz performers has developed his creativity and passion for new music, whilst international cruise ship work has empowered him with the versatility of a top-notch session musician.
These two skills have enabled Reuben to become one of the first call Jazz & Session musicians throughout New Zealand.
Bradley has released several albums to date via reputed Jazz Label Rattle Records.
Resonator was awarded best Jazz Album in 2011, a collection rich in musical diversity, where high art meets organic improvisation and eclectic contemporary grooves.
Dark and mystical, the nightmarish tales of famed horror author H. P. Lovecraft set the tone for Bradley’s bold 2015 album Cthulhu Rising, a treat for lovers of beautifully constructed, superbly played contemporary jazz.
Shark Variations was released in June 2017 and is alive with vibrant energy, a joyful set of thematic explorations developed over many years. The album features Roger Manins (sax) and Brett Hirst (bass).
