Congratulations to Aro for getting into the top 20 finals for APRA's prestigious Silver Scroll Awards!

Aro are a Tāmaki Makaurau based musical duo consisting of husband and wife Charles (Ngāpuhi, Te Rarawa, Ngāti Te Ata, Ngāti Mutunga) and Emily Rice. The duo's music is a blend of both jazz and traditional Māori sounds, and explores the themes of kaitiakitanga and manaakitanga.
