‘Another Reason’ is the third release from Jarrod Ross since embarking on his most recent solo project. The track is an anthem for those who have stood at crossroads, weighing options and seeking a sign to move them forward.
This time around Jarrod diverts from the rock’n’roll he’s known for and demonstrates another dimension of his musical ability, with acoustic guitar, piano & vocal harmonies shaping the song.
The drums are once again provided by Barry Blackler who also mixed and mastered the track. Blacklers ability to hear what’s between the layers and bring out even more of the emotive feel is a clear asset to the music and something only experience can provide.
An acoustic guitar leads the song to the opening lines, "Every day I wake again, wishing I was sleeping in," evoking a sense of yearning for solace, setting the stage for a journey that listeners can readily connect with.
