New Instrumental Guitar EP For Michael Signal

Kiwi guitarist & songwriter, Michael Signal has been busy in the studio, recording his latest instrumental EP entitled Solway, out now on all good digital outlets.

“The idea to do the guitar instrumental EP came from wanting to utilise and blend all my acoustic and electric guitars together to sonically create a rich wall of guitars.” Explains Signal.

“I've got some lovely resonant 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars that sound great with a mic on them, the EP opens and closes with a couple of acoustic instrumentals inspired by the acoustic work of bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, W.A.S.P. and Black Sabbath, centred around the mini opus "Magnestism" and a more traditional shred instrumental influenced by the 70's, 80's guitar heroes like Van Halen, George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen and Gary Moore.”

Michael has been honing his craft both live & in the studio since he was 14 years old.
