Alargo and Kingsley Spargo announce shows at Kumeu Live
Finally some good news for lovers of live music, in what has been a dust bowl for live performance. ALARGO perform at Kumeu Live this Saturday 5 March, featuring Alan Brown and Kingsley Spargo. Tickets are limited due to COVID restrictions, so be in quick!
This is the first opportunity the electroacoustic duo have had to celebrate the launch of our third album Obscura in October last year. They squeezed in one gig just before Auckland's last lockdown at CJC last August. John Fenton wrote a smashing review here.
Just a few weeks later, Kingsley Spargo also performs at Kumeu Live on Saturday 2 April, featuring Neil Watson and Chris Orange. Again, tickets will be limited due to COVID restrictions, so get in quick!
As well as performing tracks from the first album Chasing Spirits, the trio will also play songs from the new album. While progress on the album has been hindered by the successive lockdowns, it has allowed the new songs to marinate, and they can't wait to play them for a live audience.
