Songbroker Welcomes SHLI
Songbroker is pleasing to welcome SHLI to the fold.
Eighteen-year-old Christchurch electronic artist SHLI, aka Timothy Ward is influenced by the likes of Burial, Yung Sherman and Gud
His rate 2020 EP release Nightcaps features four ethereal and ambient songs refined from a collection of original demos created last year.
Following this release, SHLI plans to continue creating and releasing music with the goal of producing for other musicians and playing festivals across Australia and New Zealand.
He has been attending Christchurch’s SOLE Music Academy since 2019, where he has honed his production and song writing skills.
He graduated in 2020 to their Artist Development program where he was supported throughout the production and release process by SOLE founder Sacha Vee, as well as well known electronic producer KAMANDI.
