Cloudy's new single 'Worth It'
Since the release of her debut EP Good Grief (March 2021) Kiwi-Austrian alternative/indie singer/songwriter, Cloudy has been honing her songwriting skills, and forming a new sound with the addition of new live band dynamic.
Leaning towards the sounds of some of her musical heroes (think Radiohead/Mazzy Star/Avril Lavigne/Paramore/Beabadoobee), Cloudy worked with producers Harry Charles and Morgan Allen to bring her new single ‘Worth It’ to life.
There's a driving energy underneath the layers of dreamy guitars, bringing forth a more raw sound compared to previous Cloudy releases. Influences of indie and alternative rock are ever present with notes of punk/pop inspired girl rock.
‘Worth It’ is a song to rock out to in your bedroom, letting out the anxiety and exasperation that can come with modern life.
