GRACE KELLY ANNOUNCES POST COVID-19 RELAUNCH OF ‘before.’

Young Auckland singer-songwriter Grace Kelly has announced her first live shows to celebrate the release of her debut EP before.’ – a collection of five catchy, upbeat tunes of feel-good country songs and heart-felt ballads.

The lead single ‘That Girl’ is a sparkling blend of catchy effervescent pop and classic country music and, accompanied by a gorgeously simple video that encapsulates Grace’s easy charm.

Grace Kelly’s EP had the misfortune of being released at the same time as New Zealand went into national lockdown in the last week of March this year. As happened to many fellow creatives, interviews that were scheduled and a run of live shows were postponed as the whole country fell into a strange period of blind uncertainty amid Coronavirus fears.

Grace was determined to make the best of the situation, and her naturally positive nature soon saw her creating new opportunities. “I liked being able to practise a lot over the lockdown period and I did some live stream performances which was great, but it’s just not the same as you can’t bounce off the energy of a full room and truly connect with people” she says.

Now, the shows have been rescheduled and Grace couldn’t be happier. “I’m so stoked to be able to get out playing my music live! It’s a whole other experience getting to play the songs in person because it’s a more intimate look into the songs. I recently started rehearsals again with guitarist Nick Brightwell, who will be playing guitar with me and we can’t wait to play the EP for everyone!”
