Orangutan Jungle School Series Two to air in Canada and the US

Orangutan Jungle School takes viewers on a roller coaster ride of the adventures, trials and tribulations, heartaches, fun, friends, failures and successes of all the orangutans who attend the BOS Foundation’s unique school in a Borneo jungle in Central Kalimantan Indonesia. They are all orphans and are learning skills that one day will enable them to live once again in a true wilderness.

This incredible show has it all: friendship, romance, bullies, danger, drama, raging hormones, fear, humour, medical emergencies, heartache, rescues, reunions, attempted escapes, and even teenage pregnancy! And of course most importantly – actual release for graduates – back into the wild.

The stakes are super high for all these orangutans with traumatic pasts.

Series One has aired all over the world in the past 12 months, from NZ, Australia, Canada and Singapore to Myanmar, The Maldives and Indonesia.

Season Two is currently airing on Channel 4 in the UK and Smithsonian and Channel Plus set to broadcast on August 18th, with more screenings in Canada to be announced.

This endearing production has an equally whimsical soundtrack composed by Dunedin based musician Scott J Mason.
