Evan Silva Set to Sing with Silva Service and Soul Timers

Soulful New Zealand singer Evan Silva paid his dues on both sides of the Tasman in the mid to late 1960s, playing Motown influenced rhythm and blues and living life on the edge, until a spiritual encounter set him on a course to become a different kind of soul man.

His silky smooth delivery has been likened to Al Green, whose songs he covered in his early club repertoire.

Evan is set to play with band the Soul Timers will play The Refinery, Paeroa on Saturday May 25th (
$25-00 ppTo Book email : evan@harbourccc.org.nz The last one was booked out so book ASAP.) 7-30pm - 11pm and with other incarnation, Silva Service at the Tauranga Entertainment Club on Sunday April 14th 5pm-8pm.
