The Big FAT Lie licenses Jocee Tuck song
‘The Big FAT Lie’ explores how powerful plant-based nutrition can be for our health. It tells the story of Grant, who is rushed to hospital with a heart attack at age 58 and how he then discovered that eating the right food could turn his life around. Grant licensed Jocee Tuck’s wonderful compositions from her album, Mt Dora, as the musical backdrop to his film. To hear more from Jocee Tuck head over to the Songbroker Search Engine.
A Seat at the Table
Filmmakers David Nash and Simon Mark-Brown's documentary highlights pivotal moments in NZ winegrowers’ ascent in the international market. A Seat at the Table is now screening onboard Air New Zealand International flights. The film was ALSO awarded a place in the ‘Best of the Fest’ at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The musical soundtrack was composed by Greg Johnson, who tastefully expresses the passion, gravitas and complexity of this craft.

Summer Concerts
The Auckland Council Music Programme for 2020 has been announced and boasts a number of Songbroker artists. Kendall Elise and The Solomon Cole Band play February 7th for ‘Blues at Blockhouse Bay, Geoff Ong performs s at Pop by the Rotunda on Jan 12th, The DeSotos bring their ‘Local Sounds’ to Pukekohe on Feb 2nd, Beachware and Investigator play on Feb 8th at Potters Park, Balmoral, She Loves You rock out in Henderson on Feb 28th, Kong Fooey groove in Whangaparaoa on March 7th, Miho’s Jazz Orchestra perform at the Domain Rotunda on the 8th March, Danny McCrum and band will feature on March 21st in Hobsonville, and The Hallelujah Picassos will be making a Domain appearance on March 29th. Kendall Elise takes to the stage on Aotea Square on January 10th, Fables on Jan 17th, Great North & Paper Cranes on the 18th,Albi on the 19th and Matthew Bannister & The Changing Same on the 31st. Get out and support local music!
