Songbroker Composer Update : Joel Haines

Joel Haines is a Musician and Composer of utmost integrity, who has composed music for films, TVC’s and some of New Zealand’s most popular TV shows such as Westside, Step Dave, The Brokenwood Mysteries, & Outrageous Fortune.

After composing the soundtrack for series 1-3 of the outrageous, funny and brilliant TV show, Westside, Joel Haines has just begun series 4 of this Outrageous Fortune prequel.

Incidentally, Westside has just been announced as a finalist in C21’s International Drama Awards, which are voted for by the world’s leading scripted commissioners and buyers. Westside features in the Best Returning Drama Series category alongside several prestigious international shows, including Humans, Top of the Lake; China Girl, Broadchurch and Fear of the Walking Dead.

Brokenwood Mysteries is now into it's 5th season and Haines will commence work on this beloved rural detective series in the coming months. This award winning series also airs on France 3(France), Acorn TV(USA), DR(Denmark), Italy(Giallo), and Nine Network(Australia), and has recently been nominated for the New York Festivals International Film & TV Awards.
