Songbroker Song of the Day : Damien Binder - 'Point and Shoot'

Damien Binder is an Australian based NZ songwriter who writes moody alternative rock with a dash or country & folk.  His music has been compared with the likes of Ron Sexsmith, Elliot Smith,  Ryan Adams and Neil Finn as well as the Church and The Go Betweens..

Since his self-titled debut album in October 2000, Damien has gone on to perform both nationally and internationally while also supporting international acts including David Gray, Marianne Faithfull & Ani De Franco. 

A finalist in the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll Songwriting Awards he has released 4 solo albums and is currently working on the 5th, due for release in late 2018.

‘Point and Shoot’ is an upbeat, heartfelt pop rock track from Binder’s sophomore solo album Til Now, released in 2004.
