Songbroker Song of the Day: Beachware - 'Rip City'

Beachware are a shimmering new 4-piece alt-pop outfit from the Auckland coast.

When their ‘Rip City’ demo racked up 3000 plays online in just two days, The band knew they were onto something good and consequently went into the studio to re-record the single alongside 4 more tracks. Engineered and mixed by Shannon Fowler, the pop legend behind Tom Lark and AC Freazy, and with mastering by Djeisan Suskov (LEISURE, countless others), the five track ep is 25 minutes of fun, frenzy, soaring melodies and danceable tunes that’ll stick in your brain.
