L'il Chuck The One Man Skiffle Machine has just returned from Manchester where he performed with his longtime one man band idol Rob Gray, aka The Little Big Band.

Back in the 80’s The Little Big Band was a regular feature on the streets busking in and around Manchester.

Unbeknown to him, one day an 18 year old kid walked by. Blown away by the music he was hearing, that kid bought his tape and went home to try to figure out what the hell That one man band was doing.....

20 odd years later via a Google search. that same kid, (now a professional musician in his own right) managed to hook up with The Little Big band and inform him that Li’l Chuck was cranking out his own style one man band 1200 miles away in New Zealand - inspired by by what he has seen and heard all those years earlier.

The two bands kept in touch and eventually met for the first time in 2014 when the idea for a joint gig was laid on the table.

Plans became reality on August 21st when Li'l Chuck and Gray displayed their multitasking musical skills on the same stage at Bakers Vaults in Stockport.
