SONGBROKER SIGNS DEL THOMAS

Songbroker welcomes Wellington based Scottish born singer songwriter Del Thomas to the fold.

Del has been playing guitar since he was a young kid. Having watched the Beatles, Stones and Kinks on TV, he was bitten by the singer/songwriter bug. 

Del moved to NZ from Scotland in 1995 and formed several bands such as as original pop/rock group Glass Onion and cover bands The Pukekos, SilverLine and his most recent Manalishi - a band paying tribute to the blues of early Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. 

Many ofDel's songs come from a mix of personal experience, observation of other people’s situations or ideas that might just come from an overheard comment in another conversation. Each song comes complete with an up-tempo beat, catchy chorus and bluesy guitar hooks.
