Into Orbit to play Going Local Wellington

It's official! Into Orbit have been selected to perform on May 23rd at Going Local Wellington as part of NZ Music Month's festivities.

Going Local is an informal way for musicians to meet with some established people already working in the music industry, who can offer advice and knowledge that will help to answer questions and a chance for the industry to get to know you and hear about your own sound and vision for the future.

Going Local will take place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Te Auaha, NZ Institute of Creativity and then the party starts at San Fran with live music from Into Orbit, Blaek and Soda Boyz.

Into Orbit are a dynamic duo of guitar and drums whose sound embodies experimental rock, metal, prog, doom, ambience and drone. Formed in 2013 in Wellington by drummer Ian Moir and guitarist Paul Stewart, their self-recorded and independently released debut album to underground critical acclaim and have since been consistently performing around New Zealand.
