One of NZ’s most inventive musicians, Crayford is touring the country performing solo piano and was the first pianist to play the recently acquired Guggenheim Steinway for what is planned to be an annually occurring series with other pianists/ensembles to follow.
An original compositional talent, Crayford has numerous albums, soundtracks, bands and awards to his name. He was recently awarded the Tui Best Jazz Album of 2017 for East West Moon.
Crayford has worked with many artists overseas, and playing solo, has also appeared in Australia, Europe, Cuba, Brazil and America. His improvised concerts have especially gained acclaim.
