Anita Andreis is a Croatian born, New Zealand based music producer, singer-songwriter and an award-winning composer renowned for her work in the field of film composition.
Andreis has worked on a variety of films, TV, theatre, and ballet productions; both independent and commercial. She has won three Best Film Music Awards for her musical scores in the animated films ‘Guliver’ and ‘Bobo’, as well as a nomination for a Best Music Award at the Pula Film Festival 2014 for her scores in ‘The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker’.
Andreis began composing at a young age, later going on to study at the Berklee College of Music where she specialized in ‘Production of Music for Film and Games’ before completing her Masters in ‘Composition and Orchestration for Film and TV’.
Andreis has a remarkable ability to elicit a strong emotional response in her audience through her unique orchestration style, haunting minimalistic piano melodies and rich textured compositions.
