SONGBROKER SONG OF THE DAY : JUNELLE -'I'VE BEEN WAITING'

Auckland based songbird Junelle has spent more than a decade playing with some of the country's leading jazz artists. 

2014 saw Junelle release her debut EP, Just This Sky, showcasing her exceptional songwriting, raw, honest outlook and soulful voice. The EP beautifully captures her ambient, electronic pop sound, adorned with beats from partner/producer Abraham Kunin (Homebrew, Esther Stephens & The Means, YGB) who set the perfect backdrop for her silken vocals.  

'I've Been Waiting' is a gentle, sultry and evocative track, the mellow beats, personal lyrics, and smooth vocals forming a truly distinctive sound.
