Formed in 2010 in London, UK - Death In Texas released two EP’s (2011 & 2013), and one full length album in 2014. Their music is immersive, complex and compelling - prominently featuring the piano, synth and vocals of Ruth Power and drums & production of Kane Power. After a full UK tour in 2015 to support their album Pause Between Breaths, Death In Texas returned to live in New Zealand. With heartfelt vocals and universal messages of hope in English and Te reo, Riqi has just released his second album Mauri on Jan 18th 2019 through Waatea music.
