Tim Allen was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire in England. Tim's father passed on his love for music, giving Tim his first vinyl record player and all the Beatles records – the soundtrack of his childhood.
Tim started writing songs at fifteen and formed a duo at school with his best friend with whom he later formed the band The Little Kings, releasing two EPs. The band regularly played iconic Brit venues including Manchester Academy 3, Manchester's Night and Day, Late Room and Roadhouse.
With the ending of The Little Kings, Tim embarked on a solo career, which saw him playing many acoustic shows around London and a sell out show in his hometown, Preston. This attracted the attention of indie label 'The Animal Farm' which released his second solo E.P Wandering, the follow up to his debut Nowhere to Go.
Tim took the plunge and moved to London to pursue his musical journey but it was Preston, Lancashire where he recorded debut album It's All About Time with longtime friend and producer Alan Gregson (Cornershop).
Disillusioned with London life, Tim’s album sat on the shelf for nearly two years until Tim emigrated to N.Z where it was released physically locally and digitally worldwide.
Tim is now based in Auckland N.Z and is part of local band Stormporter who have released two singles, Find Yourself and Sparkle Shimmer Shine - the 2 tracks produced by esteemed kiwi producer, Ben King.
