'Radio Punks' is an insightful and entertaining look at the history of student radio in New Zealand.
Directed by Paul Casserly (Eating Media Lunch, Birdland) of Perendale Productions and presented by Jeremy Wells, the renegade history and rebel spirit of student radio is recounted by some of the people involved, including John Campbell, Mikey Havoc, Jude Anaru, Marcus Lush, Roy Torlesse, Graeme Hill, Steven Joyce and including all the B Net stations such as bFM, RDU, Active, Contact, Control/Massey, Radio One.
Songbroker was proud to licence Pretty for 'Radio Punks', written by Karl Bray and performed by The Prophet Hens.
Packed to the gills with NZ music, listen out for seminal bands such as The Abel Tasmans, Jean Paul Sartre Experience, Space Waltz, Headless Chickens plus more obscure acts such as Noddy On The Cross.
