Ocean Beach

Taking their name from the (now closed) Ocean Beach Freezing Works in Bluff, Ocean Beach play what they describe as "crunchy punk folk with shimmering resonance".

This Auckland three-piece (Gary Dalhousie, Robbie Halcrow and Troy Stanton-Kerr) are influenced by reggae, ska and alternative rock, and are set to release a 4-track e.p. entitled Southland Boys High, recorded at North Western Recorders by Nick Abbott and mastered at Auralux by Angus McNaughton.

Among their awards is the coveted 'Best Saturday Jam Session in West Glenfield Between 2 and 4', which they picked up in 2015.
