Kendall Elise unveils new video for 'Honest Hand'
Kendall Elise’s latest single ‘Honest Hand’ references Victorian anxieties and fears of science and progress, a commentary that might seem recognisable to many today.
“The song is a nod to the misinformation that plagues the internet and those who use it to manipulate the fearful and under-privileged for their own financial gain.'“ says Kendall. “For me the song represents a kind of realisation that honesty and integrity are two things that I value a lot.”
Elise’s new music video, directed by Amber Beaton and made with the help of NZ on Air, mirrors those Victorian ideas with its black & white silent movie format, adding a fun, slapstick element to the visuals.
‘Honest Hand’ is from Elise’s latest acclaimed album release ‘Let the Night in’.
