Jarrod Ross Unleashes new single and video 'Hail'
You may know Jarrod Ross as front man for Auckland rock band Valedictions.
Jarrod has been working on some solo material and today he releases his new single ‘Hail’.
With a deep droning bass line and high pitched staccato electric guitar, Ross leads us into dystopian future with a Jane’s Addiction inspired narrative voice.
This new single is catchy but carries heft. The accompanying video features old black and white footage edited into a montage of themes such as sickness, nuclear warfare, paranoia interspersed with manic dancing, creating a feeling of unease.
