Nosferatu 100th anniversary celebration with Darryn Harkness
Producer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist, Darryn Harkness will be performing his live soundtrack alongside the film Nosferatu to celebrate its 100th anniversary, this Halloween - Sunday, October 31 at Lopdell House Theatre, Titirangi at 8PM.
Harkness weaves bowed guitar and piano with live looping for his haunting and mesmerising soundtrack to F W Murnau's classic silent film.
Harkness first performed his Nosferatu soundtrack in London in 2007 to a record breaking attendance of over 2000 people, which led to performances throughout the UK and Germany including performances at The Edinburgh Festival and The Auckland Festival of the Arts.
Harkness is known for his groups New Telepathics. Loud Ghost, King Ketchup, Spacesuit and Serafin (UK). Harkness has been a member of From Scratch for 26 years and is also a member of Hallelujah Picassos and the Andrew Fagan band.
