Songbroker Welcomes My Education

Songbroker is very pleased to announce we now look after the songs of My Education.

Texas-based band My Education formed in 1999 and have released eight full-length albums. Their latest release ‘Schipol’ was produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Trail of Dead, Patty Griffin) at Public HiFi studios in Austin

They have shared the stage with several artists such as A Place to Bury Strangers, Kinski, Bardo Pond, Dalek, The Black Angels, The Sea and Cake, Warpaint, Trans Am and many more. Additionally, My Education joined Maserati and the Red Sparowes on multi-date regional tours.

The group love to collaborate and specialise in new media crosscurrents. Their collaboration with Houston's NobleMotion Dance company premiered with three sold out shows in 2011 at Ballet Austin, with a second collaboration in late 2013 selling out at Houston's Hobby Center.

The band have also wrote the score to the film ‘Mud, Mules and Mountains’ by CM Talkington, director of the cult classic ‘Love and a 45’ that premiered at the Telluride Film Festival 2015.
