‘Here It is’: Damien Binder shares visual for new single
Following the release of his new single ‘Here It Is’, Perth based kiwi musician, Damien Binder has just shared his evocative new video accompaniment, which has premiered on music blog site Backseat Mafia.
The clever video was directed by acclaimed kiwi filmmaker Jonathan King and as Backseat Mafia describes it: “Binder’s flickering image is on a hovering vintage TV as the contents of a storage facilities – the brain where his memories are stored – float through the air. It is a treasure chest of photographs, places and moments being observed by his presence on the TV screen – an embodiment of a remote connection to the past through the tangible objects”.
Proceeds from the sale of ‘Here It Is’ will be donated to The Lord Mayors Distress Relief Fund- appealswa.org.au to help those directly impacted by the recent bushfires in Perth, WA.
