D.Matthews unveils new video for 'Sunrise' single

Nigerian born, NZ based artist D.Matthews makes music in the realm of Afrobeat, R&B, Pop/Soul & Trap, with a motivation to make your soul lively and make your body move.

He has just released a new video for his latest song ‘Sunrise’, a track commissioned by Songbroker for last year’s Project Sunrise compilation album Music From Tomorrow Morning.

Of the experience, he waxes lyrical: “Searched all around me to see the commotions around me. Especially with the effect COVID-19 had globally. We are by far, so blessed to live in a country called, New Zealand (Aotearoa) as it’s the first to see the sunrise out of all countries."

The new video sees D.Matthews dancing on top of one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s mountains with footage interspersed of beautiful New Zealand Scenery and scenes of Nigeria. It’s a fine accompaniment to the positivity and feel good nature of the track.
