Katie Thompson releases new album 'Bittersweet'
Christchurch based singer/songwriter Katie Thompson has been carving a pathway within the country music scene in New Zealand, blending elements of folk, pop, rock and country into bittersweet and beautiful songs.
Her latest album Bittersweet is stronger then ever, offering some poignant, intimate, wistful tracks such as the beautiful ballad ‘I Once was your Everything’, which examines fading love, the sweetest lullaby ‘Precious Little Moments’ to the grittier, sassy ‘Straight Talkin’ Woman.’
Katie celebrates with a Bittersweet Album Release show in Hokitika at Regent Theatre on September 7th.
