Harry Parsons releases video for latest single, ‘Scars’
Auckland singer-songwriter Harry Parsons has just revealed the video for his new single, ‘Scars’.
‘Scars’ is a heartfelt song, which blends thoughtful lyricism with lush melodies. The song is currently getting radio play across networks The Hits and More fm, as well as regional radio across the country.
Parsons says the self-penned song reflects on love throughs the highs and lows. And the video - directed by Yonoko Li and produced by Jonathan Zsofi - holds up a mirror to the relatable plight of the dysfunctional relationship.
“A young couple meet at a bar and remember their past, the good times and the bad times,” says Parsons.
“Is there a future for them together? It’s all about striving to fix a damaged relationship.”
Parsons recorded ‘Scars’ at Auckland’s legendary Roundhead Studios, owned and run by Kiwi music royalty Neil Finn, working with the studio’s award-winning in-house engineer Simon Gooding.
Parsons is a live force to be reckoned with, playing countless festivals and opening for acts like Tash Sultana and Lime Cordiale.
