Songbroker December News
It's nearly that time! But before we wind up work in the Songbroker office, we wanted to let you know about our latest film, television and online licensing projects, not to mention our ever-growing rich and diverse NZ music catalogue.
And we all wish you a safe and happy Christmas break.
Fresh Eggs TV Series
A black comedy with a deliciously twisted sense of humour, the six-part TVNZ drama series Fresh Eggs follows a couple’s quest for “the good life” that goes wickedly awry. Andrew Keoghan has been busy writing the soundtrack for this forthcoming series and we can't wait to hear it. Starring Claire Chitham, Cohen Holloway, Danielle Cormack, John Rhys-Davies and Dave Fane.
Triton Hearing 'Give the Gift of Better Hearing'
Triton Hearing believe access to good hearing health and solutions improves quality of life for clients and their families. Their latest animated online campaign ‘Give the Gift of Better Hearing’, has utilised the festive Evan Silvatrack ‘This is Christmas’ which we think is a lovely fit. Watch the campaign here.
Bluebridge Ferries recently licensed Greg Johnson's song 'Call My Name'under his Tropical Noise production music moniker, and Looking For Alaska's track 'Hey You' - both for short-term nationwide radio advertising campaigns. What great kiwi accompaniments to an iconic kiwi ferry.
Air New Zealand - Crazy About Rugby
Rugby matters to us. It matters to New Zealand. It matters to Air New Zealand. Songbroker was proud to license the iconic kiwi band Goodshirt’s track ‘Buck It Up’ to add to the energy, passion, and identity of the Air NZ campaign.
New Songbroker Talent
We are so pleased to welcome the following artists to the Songbroker fold and we look forward to introducing their music to the rest of the world; Push Push, Happy Hearse, Jas Josland, Gavin Burgess, Dylan Storey, Beachware, Erin Cole-Baker, Armchair Insomniacs and Tablefox.
Topp Twins on Shortland Street

Having recently been made Dames, the pair also just won the 2018 NZ Television Award for Best Lifestyle Program for their series Topp Country (Season 3).
