Greg Fleming unveils second single 'Flew in from Vegas'

Flew in From Vegas is the second track released from Greg Fleming and The Working Poor's upcoming album Working Poor Country.

The 12 track album gets back to Fleming's alt-country roots and is Fleming's finest collection of songs yet.

"No, I've never been to Las Vegas," says Greg. "But it seemed the perfect city for this song about loneliness and broken love. Actually the lyrics were scribbled on the back of a boarding pass at Christchurch airport; and you can't get much further away from Vegas than that!"

Greg's first show was opening up for Texan legend Townes Van Zandt since then he's built up a reputation as a razor sharp songwriter - adept in a wide range of styles and settings. The Working Poor are one of Australasia's finest, forward-thinking rock bands. Their album To Hell With These Streets made the top 10 best albums of 2016 at elsewhere.co.nz - it followed the highly acclaimed Stranger In My Own Hometown and 2014's Forget the Past – which enjoyed 4 star reviews both at home and internationally.

Working Poor Country is out digitally on October 14th.
