Songbroker Welcomes Geoffrey Hern
Geoffrey Hern is a Singer Songwriter and Musician based in New Zealand.
Geoffrey's musical began playing bass for his mum “Jenny Blackadder” better known as The Banjo Queen, at 12 years old. Honing his craft on the road, Hern has learnt from some of New Zealand’s best musicians and has won multiple music awards.
After years of working in television and film as an editor and sound engineer to support his family, Hern has recently returned to his first love of writing and playing music full time.
His catalogue ranges from Country, Rock and Pop to Gospel and Ballads.
Geoffrey can be seen performing Live around NZ with His Band “Stirling Hern” Featuring “Michael Stirling” on guitar and “Andrew Richardson on the drums.
