From their forthcoming debut album - out next month, Valedictions release their first single "Pieces" today.

Valedictions are a three piece Rock band from Auckland. Jarrod Ross (Guitar/ Vocals), Cole Goodley (Drums) and Ivan De Los Santos (Bass) have a distinct original sound that offers a mix of gritty Rock'n'Roll, slightly damaged Indie Pop and melodic harmonies.

On return from London in 2009 Valedictions went into York Street Studios to work on their first single "Hey Lady." which was featured on "The Rock FM".

With a strong start to 2010 they secured a spot at the “Big Day Out” and the “Big Night In” and  with numerous other performances throughout the year they also joined the “Jordan Luck Band” on the end of their NZ tour, impressing crowds with their full on live performance.

Follow up tracks "Guilty Man" and "Come & Get It" were recorded by Andrew Buckton (D4, Midnight Youth, Tahuna Breaks), both of which received radio play as well as the "Come & Get It" video being aired on C4 for several months.

Recently Valedictions went back to the studio to record their debut album which is due for release 21 April 2017.
