Songbroker Welcomes Paul Schreuder
Songbroker is pleased to welcome the songs of Paul Schreuder to the roster.
Schreuder recorded his first album in 1979, producing two songs that were in the finals for the APRA silver scroll in 1980 - his song ‘You’ve got me loving you’ taking out the prize that year.
Paul took a long break from recording in the 80's as he attended University to complete several degrees.
In 1996 he released an album ‘Rosetta Road’ recorded at the legendary RNZ studios in Wellington.
Since then Paul has recorded a series of albums in the Kapiti Coast where he lives - the first of these being ‘In Amsterdam’, followed by ‘Sobertown’, ‘Suicide Heart’, and ‘Invisible Sin’.
He is currently finishing his latest album 'Church of You’.
Paul performs in the Wellington region either solo or in a duo or with his band ‘The Jukebox Gypsies’ .
He has recorded over 100 original songs about relationships, politics, places and the human condition.
Paul works in the addictions field and sees songwriting as a wonderful form of therapy.
