Auckland based Hip-hop funk soul outfit Kong Fooey have earned themselves a solid and loyal kiwi fan base with their tight musicianship, funky beats and high-energy crowd-pleasing performances.

Their first album Final Destination released in 2015 received excellent reviews including a 5 star review from the Otago times.

Over the past 5 years the band has come to the fore with singles such as the 2013 release
‘Let Go’, picked up by Kiwi FM, George FM and Mai FM which amassed over 6,000 plays on Soundcloud, the hard-hitting frenetic groove of singles ‘Be Like Water’ , ‘Right As Rain’ and the more recently dropped brand new track The Beast also to be included in March 2017’s
NZ on Air New Tracks .
