THE SOLOMON COLE BAND RELEASES NEW VIDEO SINGLE 'RING YOUR BELL'

Waiheke Island based blues/rock/soul four-piece The Solomon Cole Band release the lead single 'Ring Your Bell' off their forthcoming debut album Bruises, out October 21st.

'Ring Your Bell' is a driving blues track with an instantly engaging Black Keys style electric guitar riff. Tongue-in-cheek lyrics set the scene as the soul inflections of vocalist Sophie Faalogo seal the deal, invoking the likes of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Gary Clarke Junior and Tina Turner.

Since their inception The SCB has supported Martha Davis & The Motels, opened NZ Fashion Week 2015, headlined at Okere Falls Beer Festival plus delivered many sold out nights at venues on Waiheke Island with their signature set of explosive and exalted blues, folk and soul.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist Solomon Cole & bassist Lee Catlin, The Solomon Cole Band also includes soul vocalist Sophia Faalogo (The Reputations, Payola) & drummer Dione Denize.

The accompanying music video was shot and compiled by Greg Cantwell and front man Solomon Cole. A melange of live band footage infused with 70's animation and vintage film, the video mirrors the gritty energy of the track.
