SONGBROKER SONG OF THE DAY : TYSON SMITH 'WINDING OUR WAY'

Tyson Smith is a guitarist/singer/songwriter based in Wellington, New Zealand. 

Since relocating to NZ's capital, Wellington, in 2006 he has been busy working on his own original music as well performing with a range of other acts. He has toured extensively internationally as guitarist with singer Hollie Smith and also played for various productions in both Theatre and TV including performances with the NZSO . He teaches one-on-one guitar lessons and occasionally plays guitar and banjo in "Mundi", a world music influenced group lead by his sister Tamara.

In 2009 he produced his first album documenting original compositions from the previous several years. On October 11th, 2014 he released his second album "The Hollow Tree". 

'Winding Our Way' is a beautiful example of his deft guitar playing and myriad of influences from blues, folk, rock and world music elements.
